The combination of these two lines makes a powerful reality to what’s occurring in the United States. Clearly stated in the first sentence is that overeating-which causes obesity- is learned during a child’s childhood. Creating a healthier atmosphere is requested for children so when they grow up they don’t have to retrain themselves with eating the right thing. Habits that are learned in the early stages of life prove to carry on with kids to their teenage years and up. Overeating can be easily picked up by children because parents sometimes use food as an escape from dealing with their children when they are crying or throwing a temper tantrum. Food should not be used as a tool for calming down your child. It should only be used when the child is really hungry. If this issue can be avoided now, America will have a better if not healthier future.
